Currently I’m in 8th grade, and my grade point average for the 1st nine weeks was 3.0. I get A’s, B’s, and some C’s. I enjoy going outside, helping people, and drawing. I would rather work outside than staring at a computer all day. My interest have led me to a choice. When I grow up, I want to be a nurse.
When I grow up, I want to be a nurse. I will become a nurse by going to college. “According to Ohio Means Jobs, Observe or examine patients to detect symptoms that may require medical attention, such as bruises, open wombs, or blood.” On Ohio Means Jobs, a nurse examines bruises or other things that could be a sign to something, like infection. According to OhioMeansJobs, they set up testing treatments for the patients. Some nurses have to give out information to the patients and doctors such as directions, visiting hours, and information on the patient. I will be able to accomplish being a nurse.
I will become a nurse by learning as much as I can about nursing. “Nursing is the protection, promotion, and optimization of health and abilities, prevention of illness and injury, facilitation of healing, alleviation of suffering through the diagnosis, and treatment of human response, and advocacy in the care of individuals, families, groups, communities, and populations.” Nurses have to tell the doctors what the patient has or what they think the patient has. Nurses have to care for their patients in order to have a good job to work at. In order to become a great nurse you have to care for lots of things. To prevent people from getting sick, the nurses give the patients medicine. Nurses have to help patients and doctors with things they need help with. The nurses doctors tell the patients what to do to prevent from getting injured.
To become a great nurse, I need to communicate with patients and doctors, caring for patients, administering medicine, and supervising nurse’s aids. “According to Ohio Means Jobs, nursing jobs are in demand and has a bright outlook.” You need a master's degree for nursing jobs. Nursing jobs have nursing opportunities. The education you need is a master’s degree. The yearly projected openings for nursing jobs are 230 people. In Ohio, the people that are currently employed in nursing jobs are 4,470 people. In Ohio, the hourly pay for being a nurse is $59 per hour. In Ohio, the average salary for nursing jobs are $122,400.
To become a nurse I need to go to college and get a master’s degree. I will also, become a nurse by learning as much as I can about nursing. To become a great nurse, people need to communicate with doctors and patients, care for the patients, and some other things. After all my research on nursing, I still want to be a nurse.

Before Career Day I wanted to become a nurse. I wanted to graduate from high school, and go to college to become a nurse. When people save money in a bank account they are saving money for things in the future or "just in case money." If people buy the important things first they will have things they need.
At the Reality Store they had health care, banks, housing, and other things. First I bought Health Insurance. I had about $4183.00. Health Insurance cost $220, and I got injured so that cost $30. Next I bought a house for $719. I, then got electric for $534. For one month of grocery's I paid $160 worth of food. I got a car, Health Insurance, Health Care, clothing, electric, housing, insurance, communications, and put $100 in my bank. I got what I needed first, then got stuff I didn't need at the end. When I was done at the Reality Store I had about $900.00 left.
What I learned from the afternoon speakers was about Tiffin University, and that it is the cheapest college around here. I learned what you have to do to become a nurse. I learned what you have to do for an interview, like wearing nice clothes.
